How to Avoid Winter Weight Gain


Fall is officially upon us, here in the Pacific Northwest. This time of year, there's a tendency to overindulge on carb-heavy foods and pumpkin spice everything and under-indulge on exercise and healthy lifestyle choices. In a very short time, we start to see some changes in our bodies. Our clothes get a little more snug, we feel tired earlier in the day, and our mood shifts toward the winter blues. With “bikini season” behind us and carb-heavy holidays ahead, our motivation wanes and that winter weight starts to gain.
